Heyo, it's dat boi and best commie alihorse. I'm not much of an artist myself, unable to draw due to a genetic disease causing constant pain in my finger joints (thanks, life!). I've got this account for commissions and rare comments, so don't expect too much. If you want to watch, make sure it's for the OC, not art. I won't be submitting much of that.

kellythedrawinguni.deviantart.…

OC information/bio :
toyhou.se/628362.katya-ironste…

Since you've reached this profile for some reason, you're probably a bit interested.
I'd like you to know a few things in that case.

1. Any useful feedback, positive or negative, is very appreciated. Hateful comments offer nothing of use and only prove that some people simply cannot take off their alicorn hate glasses. I've made her to show people that alicorn OCs in the MLP fandom don't all have to be terrible and can both look good and have a decent story to follow. One day, I hope she'll gain some popularity. It would only make me happier.

2. If you have concerns regarding Kat being a bit too similar to any other OCs, I have evidence of her being a thing dating back to September 2013, while the concept started before summer of that year. Just because I may be less popular than some people doesn't mean I appreciate comments saying 'Katya looks like X', while it's usually the other way around. For example, EQStories' Alice was created a few months after Kat. Hearing plenty of comparisons here, but as the other OC has the support of a comic artist and a tumblr, people believe they're the original due to popularity.

3. No, she's not the embodiment of communism. Check the journals or just ask for explanations.

4. I had a sphinx pony drawn before it was cool. Yes, I consider it worth mentioning :I

5. If you have any questions, whether it's about Kat, me, or something else I can answer, feel free to ask.

6. Her wings are meant to stay hidden. If you see otherwise and the situation doesn't call for it, it's because an artist got the wrong idea and refused to edit it, despite it being their fault. Happens more than it should..

7. I turned off llama notifications. If you don't get one back after giving it to me, it's because I don't know and don't really care about them. If you want to express something, you can do it with words, not a pointless badge.

8. Being an introvert, I find it hard to reach out to people myself. That doesn't mean I wouldn't want to get to know you guys. Chatting (except for small talk) or playing together, I love to do all that. Scroll down, if you want to get in contact and don't be discouraged if I appear hesitant at first. I may be grumpy, but I'm not crazy.

I swear, I'm not!

Well, that should be it. Now, off you go!

Favourite and highly recommended artists :

If you found yourself in the list above, that means:
- I like your art style, obviously!
- I like you as a person. This usually means you were professional, ensured my satisfaction with the final results and were pretty laid back when it came to just having a chat or discussing something.
- Your prices were fair and reasonable. This doesn't necessarily mean you were cheap, more that you weren't overpriced and I considered your art worth what I paid.

It's hard to get on the list above, so if you did, congratulations! If it makes me look picky, you should know that I am. When I pay, I expect some quality of service and the higher the price, the more dissatisfied I will be if my expectations are not met. There's so many artists whining about commissioners, yet not nearly enough people doing it in the opposite direction. While I don't want to point fingers and spread negativity, it's enough to say that if I had a list for that, it would have plenty of entries. It also helps me appreciate the people that really deserve it, you should consider commissioning them sometimes, if you're looking for reliable artists!

Katya Ironstead - Guild Wars 2
A commission I picked up from an awesome artist over at tumblr.
GW2 is likely to be my first and last entry in the MMORPG genre that I decided to give a try, but I certainly enjoyed it. What you see is a female Charr warrior armed with a legendary Predator rifle (crafting this thing took me months...) that I created, based on the MLP OC of mine. Was quite happy with the result, both in-game and on paper. Her armor was supposed to be olive green rather than dark silver, but it often looked silver due to shading in the game and thus, the artist drew it that way. Still looks good xP

If you like the art and want to see more or would like to commission the artist yourself - www.guildwars2roleplayers.com/…

While she normally accepts payment in in-game currency, she set up a Paypal account recently to allow money transfers.

Priviet, comrades! It is time for the next episode of our show, starring your favourite commie princess!**

* ohmygawd thank you for that page doll, Whisk, I love it
** not actually a commie princess

Found these questions on a tumblr of a Guild Wars 2 artist a decent while ago, since I've been playing the game for a while and wanted to commemorate the character I made with an art piece (totally commissioned them, I got permission to upload it on my dA, so you may get to see it later, if you're interested~) Had little to do lately, so I felt like spending some time to answer these questions myself. Prepare for a long read, if you actually want to bother, and feel free to answer them for your own OCs, if you want some food for thought.

This journal is also a big thank you to anyone who happened to vote for Kat in LillyCheese's OC contest back during summer (better late than never :v). The results caught me completely off-guard and you've managed to both make me smile (trust me, harder than it seems) and make THIS happen.

Thanks for your support! It means a lot. In return, here's a (hopefully) good read.

Also, for those who have been asking, I've had some difficulty with getting the new reference sheet made (still waiting on the commissioned artist, they haven't even started after six months and I'd rather not bother them about it more than I already did) and may need to find somebody else to do it, if the situation doesn't change soon. Sorry for the delay, but hopefully I'll manage to work out a replacement, if it comes to that!

Still, if you know any decent replacements, let me know! I'm looking for something not too pricey (probably 50$ max), but at the same time close to show style, with more than just one image and from an artist with good english and enough patience for me to be able to ensure every detail is just the way I want it to be.

A link to her bio has also been on my profile page for a while. Those vigilant may have already noticed, but if you haven't - toyhou.se/628362.katya-ironste…

1. What’s their full name? Why was that chosen? Does it mean anything?
Katya Ironstead. Technically, the full name of Katya is Ekaterina, russian for Catherine, but I doubt that's going to see much use. Despite being human, it sounded exotic enough for me to use it, seeing how ponies often shouldn't have human names. I picked it simply because I knew that if I'll ever make an OC, I want to give it that name. That's really all there is to it. Honestly don't remember where I got that idea from. Her surname, however? Stead alone means a stance, place or position, which translates into many things, whether it's adopting an iron stance in a confrontation and never backing down or a play on the word homestead to show that she offers safety to those she holds dear and can always offer others support to stand them in good stead, as the saying goes.

2. Do they have any titles? How did they get them?
If Starbutt and heavy sleeper count, then she did indeed earn those. The former is most commonly used by her co-workers. When she's nowhere nearby, of course.

3. Did they have a good childhood? What are fond memories they have of it? What’s a bad memory?

Her childhood was often boring and spent without making a lot of contact with the outside world. It wasn't great, but wasn't terrible. Her caretaker was strict, but showed her plenty of affection. One of her worst memories would probably be when her cat wandered off for the first time. >.>

4. What is their relationship with their parents? What’s a good and bad memory with them? Did they know both parents?

She's unfortunate enough to know nothing about her real parents, so the only memory of them would be when she was told by her stepfather/guardian. It wasn't the most pleasant experience and she avoids thinking about it, as it easily lowers her self-esteem. I realize it may sound slightly edgy, but I wanted to make sure that she loses most of her ties to the past to allow more of a blank slate on an alicorn character.

5. Do they have any siblings? What’s their names? What is their relationship with them? Has their relationship changed since they were kids to adults?

Unfortunately, nothing in terms of siblings is known. It's safe to assume she has none.

6. What were they like at school? Did they enjoy it? Did they finish? What level of higher education did they reach? What subjects did they enjoy? Which did they hate?

Home-schooled for the most part, she found anything that offered a lot of trivia the most enjoyable. Books concerning history or mythology tend to be her favourites, while mathematics and literature, poetry especially, extremely bored her (with exceptions here and there). Having a retired teacher along with her parent aiding her efforts, her knowledge ends on about high-school level education, with some shortcomings here and there, which is acceptable for her age. While having no immediate plans of beginning university education, she makes sure to quickly catch up on any knowledge she finds out she requires in her daily life or simply finds interesting and is a fast learner. If an opportunity to earn a new skill presented itself, she would rarely stray from it.

7. Did they have lots of friends as a child? Did they keep any of their childhood friends into adulthood?

Not much to be said here, as she avoided leaving her home and kept contact with the outside world to a minimum for most of her childhood, which didn't leave her with a lot of confidence when it comes to establishing a relationship. Her teacher and sometimes caretaker, an elderly mare, would be pretty close to her and she's always been in frequent contact, no matter the age, only that as she grew up, she ended up being the one helping, rather than the one being helped.

8. Did they have pets as a child? Do they have pets as an adult? Do they like animals?

She has owned a siamese cat from the moment she was considered responsible enough and the pet has kept her company ever since. She finds it relatively easy to understand animals through their body language and communicate this way on a basic level. She understands their behaviour and can sometimes form a bond, though it's of course nowhere near the skill and talent of a certain canon yellow pegasus. Felines are her area of expertise and canines she knows enough about, having either diamond dogs form a part of her town's society or timberwolves residing in the snowy forests surrounding the town.

9. Do animals like them? Do they get on well with animals?
They don't see her differently than they would see most other. She often takes things like 'no sudden movements' and 'don't constantly stare it in the eyes' into account when it comes to interacting. It depends on the animal itself too. I mean, she generally gets on very well with cats and knows their quirks, but if a certain cat decides to be a jerk to everyone, it will be a jerk to her, no exceptions.

10. Do they like children? Do children like them? Do they have or want any children? What would they be like as a parent? Or as a godparent/babysitter/ect?
Quiet and reserved ones, yes. Mostly because she can relate. Cheerful and cute ones could give her a smile or two. Loud and obnoxious ones or babies in general she sometimes considers to be the spawns of satan and generally avoids contact with. Spoiled and obnoxiously demanding ones (you know, the kind that falls to the floor and starts kicking and screaming in the middle of a supermarket, because mom won't buy it yet another toy) she absolutely detests and will often consider their parents to be a failure. She doesn't want children and has not yet considered the possibility. Most likely wouldn't make the greatest parent or babysitter, lacking a motherly figure to use as an example. She'd keep the child safe for sure, but wouldn't be able to form a bond or entertain it in most cases, often being strict.

11. Do they have any special diet requirements? Are they a vegetarian? Vegan? Have any allergies?

No special diet, though she often controls the amounts she eats and adjusts it, focusing somewhat on bodybuilding. Being a cartoon horse, it's hard not to be a vegetarian.

12. What is their favourite food?

Plenty of Italian cuisine, whether it's spaghetti or other kinds of pasta, lasagne, pizza... She also enjoys most things made out of potatoes. Salted peanuts are one of her favourite snacks. From sweeter things, her favourite would be coconuts. She will also enjoy a simple apple, though sweeter kinds are preferred, she dislikes anything sour. Wouldn't stray from a hayburger and fries either. She enjoys simple, filling and tasty.

13. What is their least favourite food?

Most kinds of stringy fruit. Not for the taste, but for how easy it is to get something stuck between your teeth. Grapefruit for tasting absolutely disgusting? (fine with plenty of sugar though, as long as the sour taste is killed) And broccoli. For the taste. And because they're evil. Really greasy food in general is pretty low on her list as well.

14. Do they have any specific memories of food/a restaurant/meal?
Not in particular. There is a tavern that she's often recognized in due to how frequently she spends evenings there, drinking or... starting fights, or simply orders lunch due to it being relatively close to her workplace. It's a good place to gather information from as well. The barkeep knows her and she knows him.

15. Are they good at cooking? Do they enjoy it? What do others think of their cooking?
Basic food preparation and maybe a few specific foods is all she'd manage. Enough to feed herself, but not enough to make a five star meal. She was taught a bit, but doesn't enjoy it too much. It can be pleasant, but not when she's tired and just wants to eat or needs to prepare a meal quickly. Then there's cleaning all the mess... She doesn't really cook for others, but her caretaker doesn't complain when she has to cook a meal for the two of them at times.

16. Do they collect anything? What do they do with it? Where do they keep it?
Stamps, souvenirs and some precious rocks, but there aren't too many of those. She always likes to have something that will help her remember the places she visited, especially when it's a trip to a faraway place. Preferably something valuable (though it can simply have value to her, not necessarily be something pricey) and not too fragile. She'd keep them locked in a small chest hidden under the bed, maybe take a look inside whenever she's reminiscing over the things she's done and the places she's been to.

17. Do they like to take photos? What do they like to take photos of? Selfies? What do they do with their photos?
She doesn't mind them and likes to take a few good shots of things she'll consider beautiful. No selfies and other photos of that sort, though. She'd prefer a beautiful landscape, some breathtaking view to be memorized on a photograph. Those would most likely land in the chest under her bed too, with other collectibles.

18. What’s their favourite genre of: books, music, tv shows, films, video games and anything else?
Books - History, Mythology, Thrillers and some sub-types of Fantasy
Music - Swing, Jazz, Big Band, Military
TV Shows - Assuming Equestria would have TV and constantly aired shows, she'd probably just watch the news and science/nature programs. Think "How it's made" on Discovery Science or wild animal documentaries on Animal Planet. That's the kind of shows to interest her the most, ones that provide knowledge (more like trivia) on topics that she wants to know about
Films - not much here
Video Games - if they were more defined in the universe... probably things she can vent on, socialize a bit and let her creativity loose, not much in terms of specific titles

19. What’s their least favourite genres?
Books - Romance
Music - ...that's a tough one, there's plenty of good music in most genres. She wouldn't like what I don't like, which is the more extreme ones. Industrial's probably the one I never enjoyed and I'd say the same applies to her.
TV Shows - stuff like "America's Got Talent" or "The Voice", reality shows, she'd detest commercials for their poor manipulation attempts

20. Do they like musicals? Music in general? What do they do when they’re favourite song comes?
She loves music to the point where she can't imagine her life without it. She'd be happy to swing to her favourite songs, when she heard them and maybe hum or start singing, if alone. Musicals... she could find them enjoyable at times.

21. Do they have a temper? Are they patient? What are they like when they do lose their temper?
A mix of both, to be exact. She definitely has a temper, to the point where those who know her have learned not to push her in some cases. Yet, when at work, she often manages to remain very professional and shows little emotion, to the point of appearing cold and heartless. Depending on her mood, both can be observed. She can be aggressive and dangerous, when pushed over the edge.

22. What are their favourite insults to use? What do they insult people for? Or do they prefer to bitch behind someone’s back?
Their lack of intelligence, hypocrisy, views, attitude, morals, virtues, what they value is often what she dislikes others for and what she targets, if she's endured too much of it in that individual's presence. She'll bitch behind people's backs, when she can't confront them directly for some reason or when it'd probably bring more harm than good (though if pushed at an inopportune time, she'd do it anyway). She's a fairly righteous character and will struggle to accept any instance of injustice.

23. Do they have a good memory? Short term or long term? Are they good with names? Or faces?
She remembers specific things, especially negative, very well. Unlike the dwarves, she does not need a book of grudges. She'll hold many for a very long time and will never forget any. Long term memory tends to be near flawless, while short term... small things may sometimes slip away, which may give the impression she's a little forgetful sometimes. Names take her a while to sink in, but she immediately remembers faces.

24. What is their sleeping pattern like? Do they snore? What do they like to sleep on? A soft or hard mattress?
Snores when incredibly tired. She likes to sleep where it's soft and warm. Sleeps well, without interruptions, unless dealing with something that constantly keeps her on edge, in which case she could find herself frequently waking up at night, unable to sleep well until the problem is gone. Needs at least six hours of sleep, preferably up to eight. Any more ends up making her sleepier in the long run, but on free days she can spend up to twelve, especially after working for a prolonged period of time.

25. What do they find funny? Do they have a good sense of humour? Are they funny themselves?
It all depends on the situation. Dark humour or jokes that are painfully true, sarcasm.. it's what she finds the most amusing. Her sense of humour isn't far from normal, though she sometimes tends to laugh in stressful situations as a method of relief, which may be seen as weird or disrespectful to some.

26. How do they act when they’re happy? Do they sing? Dance? Hum? Or do they hide their emotions?
In moments of intense, child-like happiness, you'd probably find her chirping and squeaking happily, I'd imagine it would be amusing to look at. For her to start singing? There's only a few situations where that could happen and neither of those is particularly... plausible. Like, if a carefully planned revenge or some master plan was coming to fruition and she couldn't keep the satisfaction in, she'd probably sing about it. (Funnily enough, this particular song explains what I had in mind well, as well as feels accurate in terms of what I'd consider to be a good candidate for Katya's voice. Could maybe just use a slight accent..) Humming though, would be a thing. When really happy, anyone around would notice it immediately, as if she carried an aura of positive feelings with her. She can hide emotions well, though. When she wants to.

27. What makes them sad? Do they cry regularly? Do they cry openly or hide it? What are they like they are sad?
If I had to write a full list, it would be longer than all of this. She doesn't cry that often, but if she does, it's alone. In her bedroom. Where she knows nobody's watching. It would be really hard, if not impossible, to make her cry in public. She'd mask it with anger.

28. What is their biggest fear? What in general scares them? How do they act when they’re scared?
Being exposed. Things going completely not the way she planned, something unexplained happening. Spiders. Complete darkness.
Unable to fly, she's also fairly afraid of heights. Not that she wouldn't board an airship, she'd just make sure to stay away from the edges. Looking down is a huge no-no.
There are more things that can scare her, definitely. It's just that the ones specifically mentioned are ones where she would struggle to conceal that she's scared.
She doesn't like jumpscares either, but those often end poorly for whoever attempts it, with a hoof to the face and a dislocated jaw. There's one other thing she always makes sure to stay far away from, reacts to by panicking irrationally (or maybe rationally?) and in extreme cases, paralysis can occur. Just looking at it sends her heart flying. Suffice to say, she's staying away from dragon homelands, as it's a common sight around there.

29. What do they do when they find out someone else’s fear? Do they tease them? Or get very over protective?
Depends on the other's personality. If she knows they'll take it fine, she'd probably tease them a bit, unless they knew her own fears and could retaliate. Otherwise, especially with a shy friend, she'd be very protective of them.

30. Do they exercise? Regularly? Or only when forced? What do they act like pre-work out and post-work out?
She does and very often. Being very strong (bodybuilder material), she not only had to work up to that, Katya makes sure not to fall behind and keep up a good condition. She can endure plenty of physical abuse and has the strength to boot. It makes her stand out from the other mares, with a fairly strong build, body size being quite above average and the fluffy fur adding more volume. There are stallions she looks down at to meet them eye to eye, though obviously ones like Big Macintosh would still tower over her. Not saying she's ugly, but I'd consider it to be a certain type of beauty that not necessarily everyone would like. She's rough on the outside, so to say.

31. Do they drink? What are they like drunk? What are they like hungover? How do they act when other people are drunk or hungover? Kind or teasing?
I once heard the phrase "stabby horn pone" and it describes Katya once intoxicated very well. She can be aggressive and will take the first opportunity to get into a fight, if pushed. Not the state in which one should argue with her. It takes a bit for her to get this drunk, though. You could say she's naturally resistant. Whether she's kind or teasing depends on who's the drunk one. She'd be sympathetic to a friend, more of a tease to strangers unless she was drunk herself. Hint : not the mare you want to challenge to a drinking contest. Despite drinking habits, she's not addicted to it.

32. What do they dress like? What sorta shops do they buy clothes from? Do they wear the fashion that they like? What do they wear to sleep? Do they wear makeup? What’s their hair like?
The uniform she wears is the only thing she ever wears. She's supposed to have something resembling a gala dress, possibly some parade uniform, but I haven't gotten around to designing that yet. She sleeps in the uniform, she even takes baths in it, washing both herself and the clothes at once. (yeah, her hygiene could be a little better, but she doesn't smell) She only takes it off to relieve her wings and give them some exercise and a preening session every so often. It wouldn't be good if she suddenly started shedding feathers and having them fall out from under her clothes in public xP
Her mane is soft, bushy and definitely somewhat messy. Katya never bothered with designing a proper mane style and found a ponytail great for restricting hair movement when exercising. It stuck around and she took to having one permanently.

33. What underwear do they wear? Boxers or briefs? Lacey? Comfy granny panties?
...don't think that applies to cartoon horses.

34. What is their body type? How tall are they? Do they like their body?
I've already answered that in question 30, but I'll repeat that she's got a rough body. The fur is thick, fluffy and soft to the touch, under which you'd find plenty of strong muscle. She towers over a standard mare and is easily on par with your average stallion. Her body is one of the few things she's always proud of and will always take a good opportunity to show off its strength.

35. What’s their guilty pleasure? What is their totally unguilty pleasure?
Sniffing catnip c:

36. What are they good at? What hobbies do they like? Can they sing?
That's something I'm still not fully ready to answer. I'll edit this answer when I have it ready. And yes, she can sing. Not that she would.

37. Do they like to read? Are they a fast or slow reader? Do they like poetry? Fictional or non fiction?
She enjoys any book, as long as it's on a topic that interests her. Relatively fast reader, she reads something a few times if she's not sure she understands it. Not one for poetry, seeing it as impractical and a waste of time. She never saw the artistic value in it. Whether fiction or not, it makes little difference. Though the former is for entertainment purposes only.

38. What do they admire in others? What talents do they wish they had?
Magic talent, primarily. There aren't many she admires, but she often wishes she was more charismatic and able to handle crowds better.

39. Do they like letters? Or prefer emails/messaging?
The first is the only option in cartoon horse land. But if both were plausible, she'd prefer messages for their speed and only use traditional mail for something formal or special.

40. Do they like energy drinks? Coffee? Sugary food? Or can they naturally stay awake and alert?
If she slept well, she can stay awake just fine throughout the entire day. If she didn't, you'll find her trying to nap on the side and pay a bit less attention to things around her. Energy drinks are for emergencies only, otherwise it's strong tea or coffee, when in need.

41. What’s their sexuality? What do they find attractive? Physically and mentally? What do they like/need in a relationship?
Primarily heterosexual, she doesn't really deviate from that. Not that there's no possibility for a same sex relationship, but she wouldn't be one to initiate and the other mare would really need to play a lot of cards right. Not to mention she's not in active pursuit of any relationship. For physical attraction, as long as the character in question wouldn't be obese or incredibly nerdy, she'd enjoy either a reserved, shy individual or a stallion that would match her in terms of musculature. She'd appreciate nicely blending colours. The face alone would be a big factor as well, but I can't pinpoint what exactly it could be about it she'd pay the most attention to. Mentally, she'd appreciate it if they were witty and relatively smart, also able to make her smile at times. They'd need to learn to respect her privacy, as she's not used to close contact and approaching her too quickly could result in her shying away from the relationship.

42. What are their goals? What would they sacrifice anything for? What is their secret ambition?
That's something I'm still not fully ready to answer. I'll edit this answer when I have it ready.

43. Are they religious? What do they think of religion? What do they think of religious people? What do they think of non religious people?
The only thing she believes in is herself. She considers any form of religion as redundant, religious people as stupid or weak-minded, non-religious as rational.

44. What is their favourite season? Type of weather? Are they good in the cold or the heat? What weather do they complain in the most?
She's used to winter and so is her body. Her uniform is relatively warm clothing and she herself has a pretty thick fur coat, making it harder for her to endure warm conditions. Snow is fine, but she's not a huge fan of rain. Straight up heat, however, is the worst. Lack of wind, no clouds, scorching sun. That's where you'd hear her complain the most.

45. How do other people see them? Is it similar to how they see themselves?
Most likely not, seeing how she's a fairly secretive mare and with her complex personality model, not many would truly understand her motives and train of thought.

46. Do they make a good first impression? Does their first impression reflect them accurately? How do they introduce themselves?
She's short and to the point in her way of talking, but by no means vague. Laconic is the word to use. Katya may appear simple at first, as her way of talking doesn't always reflect the character behind it. She likes to keep introductions short as well. A simple salute and mention of the other soldier's rank is all she does to greet another fellow guard. For others, she simply addresses them. Only when somewhat uncertain or uncomfortable, lacking confidence, she'd initiate conversations with a 'hello'.

47. How do they act in a formal occasion? What do they think of black tie wear? Do they enjoy fancy parties and love to chit chat or loathe the whole event?
She dislikes fancy parties and would never go to one off her own volition. Despising the kind of behaviour and the people who often attend, you don't really see events of that sort over at Stalliongrad. While not a fan of fancy wear, especially for females (she'd rather repeatedly cut herself with a spoon than wear a dress), she'd enjoy wearing a parade uniform.

48. Do they enjoy any parties? If so, what kind? Do they organise the party or just turn up? How do they act? What if they didn’t want to go but were dragged along by a friend?
She's more of a loner. A small party for few, she may be able to enjoy, but huge events are something she often avoids. Would never organize a party on her own, seeing no reason to. If she was dragged along, it would need to be for a pretty good reason. She still wouldn't enjoy it, but she'd try to stick to the side and endure it for the friend. She'd try to slip away at some point though, if possible.

49. What is their most valued object? Are they sentimental? Is there something they have to take everywhere with them?
That's something I'm still not fully ready to answer. I'll edit this answer when I have it ready.

50. If they could only take one bag of stuff somewhere with them: what would they pack? What do they consider their essentials?
That's something I'm still not fully ready to answer. I'll edit this answer when I have it ready.

51. What do you think it would take to corrupt them?
That's something I'm still not fully ready to answer. I'll edit this answer when I have it ready.

52. What's the story behind their clothes?
I've pretty much explained it earlier, but for the sake of completion and not forcing people to search, here's a quick rundown. It's a custom-tailored uniform of the city guard that she wears anywhere she goes and refuses to take it off unless alone in an isolated place, like her bedroom. Not much more beside that.

53. Were they trained in combat? Self-taught maybe? Are they good?
Trained and capable, she knows and utilizes moves to subdue and pacify an opponent without long-term injury, if required. Otherwise, she's happy to beat things into submission. Especially when furious. She's not accustomed to fighting styles and doesn't use them, though she has a little theoretical knowledge (but her technique is fairly average). What she lacks in speed, she makes up with blocks and counters. Part of her experience comes from the countless bar brawls she's taken part in, learning firsthand about how to improvise and emerge victorious. Bet she'd make a good boxer or wrestler. What she feels better with is combat with weaponry, whether melee or ranged (she has her preferences in each category), being a soldier after all. Though she'll never stray from good ol' fisticuffs, fighting mano-a-mano. It's her favourite.

54. Were they trained to survive in harsh weather conditions?

Extreme cold? Yes. Extreme heat? No. Not only is her body adjusted to cold climate, she's gone through survival training, being a necessary part of life in Stalliongrad. From finding food in the wilderness, through finding shelter and treating frostbite, to surviving a dive in extremely cold water.

I've had this nearly ready for a few months, sitting in my stash, that I wanted to finally get it posted. I'll fill in the unanswered questions over time. Again - if there's anything you'd want to know, ask.

I found my new fav OC, i love her.

BTW me and a friend liked her enough that now we are imagining making a story with her, just not sure if we can do it since the OC belongs to you (look at it as asking for permission). If you can tell me what we can or what we shouldn't do i would really appreciate it

Aww, love to hear it.

While I appreciate the initiative, I'm not sure I'd feel comfortable giving somebody else free reign in terms of writing stories about her and don't exactly have the time to supervise it either, therefore I'll have to refuse :c
But I don't want your effort to completely go to waste, so I could at least hear you out. You can tell me about your idea, if you so wish.

I understand comrade, no problem.

Here's the yet incomplete story: (i recommend hearing this song while reading, i feel it fits relly well to Katya: youtu.be/w42CTq5QZtI

Basically there is a new leader in Stalliongrad that most of its citizens dont agree with, but most of them have no other option but to accept it. However there are other ponies that decide to go against the new leader, considering him as traitor to the nation, they release some battles between the government and them, called the "rebels". Katya is against the new leader too, but she beleives that going against the city is tearson to her nation, so she prefers to stay at the side of the government, even if she doesnt agree with it.

The mane 6 are called by the map to help, they are received by Katya when entering the frontier. While traveling to the city (in a transpot Katyusha truck), they get attacked by rebels and Katya gets injured by enemy fire. When they all arrive to a safer place, Katya refuses to receive medical attention (to mantain her wings hidden), but the injury is bad enough to kill her if she doesn't get attention, so she has no option but to accept.
The mane 6 are surprised by finding out that she is an alicorn, but are ordered by Katya not to tell anyone.

The next day, Katya explains the mane 6 what she thinks about the government and they consider her as the perfect leader for the nation (mostly by her way to think rather than just by being an alicorn), although she refuses. They decide to make a mission to unite Stalliongrad's habitants and the rebels to take down the leader.

Once they convinced the rebels and some civilians, they decide to launch the attack against a military base to capture some weapons and tanks to have superiority against the leader's security in his building. While attacking, it is ordered to launch a squadron of Pe-8 bombers to destroy the rebels*. The few unicorns capable of making a shield to protect everyone from the bomb raid are not enough, Katya is not considering surrender at all, but she starts loosing everypony's determination to continue, she explains everyone what she said to the mane 6 earlier and leaves everyone amazed, making them to join back together and fight the bombers.

After surviving the bomb raid, they head to the leader's building, capturing him and taking him down. All of Stalliongrad is thankfull to Katya and they all want her as their new leader.

Like Twilight becoming a princess, Katya is not really sure if she is ready for it, Twilight explains to her what she felt and convinces Katya. There is a ceremony and a parade and the mane 6 leave. Katya is the leader for the next years to come, although she never reveals being an alicorn.

*What i consider is that because of the cold weather, ponies need thick clothes, adding weight to her body, plus the weight of the weapons makes even the strongest pegasi to get exhausted quickly, so they decide to make machines capable of carrying weaponry and fly long distances, they build planes.

Thats the basic story, i have imagined some scenes as if it was an animation, but that's quite complex already. Hope you liked it.

By the way: i also want to make some art of her but still ask if its ok to do it (do i need to ask you for permission to do it?)

Sure, I don't see anything wrong with a bit of fan art. I appreciate you wanting to ^^

The story itself... I have to admit, I don't particularly enjoy interaction with canon characters and try to keep the character separate from them. The idea has its issues, but is actually pretty solid.

I'd probably have some gripes with her alicorn status being revealed and nothing coming out of it. I genuinely doubt the main cast would keep it secret just because they were asked to or if Katya would eagerly accept the position of the new leader. She doesn't see herself as one, being reserved and antisocial aren't quite good traits for this position and she knows it, finding herself comfortable being someone else's subordinate, not quite able to inspire others, unless in a rare and sudden outburst. Likely a newly chosen leader's right hand mare would make more sense from a character standpoint and even that would come after some reassuring. Don't think any amount of convincing would make her accept a leader's position, unless she was under a ton of peer pressure.

I'm not too certain about the appearance of military vehicles and such a drastic scenario fitting entirely into the MLP theme as well, but with adjustments and some extra polish this could certainly work as Katya's introduction into the canon. Haha, if only c':
